  Numerous diet plans are available on the market today, however, many of them are based on three simple principles. By simply increasing water, increasing exercise and decreasing calorie intake, anyone can start losing weight easily and effectively. You can even save money on food with this option, no expensive diet plans are needed. Bottled water is not necessary, tap water will work. Combining all three steps will not only lead to weight loss, but to a healthier lifestyle as well.

  Drink Water 

Water is a calorie-free drink that can be procured for free from the tap. Water flushes toxins out of the body and can increase metabolism. Additionally, many times a person feels hungry when, in fact, he is actually thirsty. Drinking water before a meal can help a person to feel full faster, as well. Many nutrition studies recommend that the average adult should drink eight 8-ounce glasses of water daily. More is needed for active lifestyles or those living in warmer climates.


  2.    Reduce Calorie
 Another simple way to lose weight is to reduce the amount of calories consumed in a day. This can be achieved by either reducing the portion size of the food already consumed, or by switching from high-calorie to lower calorie foods. For example, instead of eating out or eating highly processed foods, you could make your meals at home with fresh, nutritious ingredients.

3. Increase Exercise
  
In order to lose weight, you need to burn more calories than you consume. In order to do this, you need to exercise more. Also, if you reduce your caloric intake while exercising more, you will lose the weight even faster. Remember to increase your water intake while exercising in order to stay hydrated. To start, try walking more often than normal. Perhaps, taking the stairs as opposed to the elevator. Work your way up to walking short and then long distances. The more exercise the better. It does not have to be hard core or take place in a gym to be effective.
